Bed and Breakfast Ventnor

St Catherine's House Bed & Breakfast Ventnor was born in 1874 as the vicarage to St Catherine's Church.

Over the years St Catherine's House has been renovated without detriment to its fine heritage, retaining many original features. Charm effortlesly flows around our bed and breakfast which also enjoys a lovely position resting in a quiet private road which is one of Ventnor's best kept secrets. St Catherines House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect base in Ventnor from where you can explore the beautiful Isle of Wight.

Our aim is to provide you with a haven of peace and tranquility during your stay at our beautiful bed and breakfast where you can totally relax and melt your cares away.

Ventnor is a friendly little Victorian town which offers an award-winning beach approximately a five-minute walk from the house.  Within the same walking distance, a variety of very good pubs and eateries can be found such as 'The Met' which offers a delicious array of tapas and continental food, 'The Spyglass Inn' a renowned pub on the water's edge serving excellent bar food and providing live music most evenings. If, however, you prefer 'fine dining', an excellent local Michelin Star French restaurant, 'The Hambrough', is less than a 3-minute walk from the house.

We are also within walking distance of 'The Botanic Gardens', 'Ventnor Park' (which supports free jazz entertainment in the summer months) and 'Steephill Cove', a really lovely fisherman's cove with two delightful cafes and a wonderful restaurant named 'The Boat House' serving delectable freshly caught fish dishes daily (advanced booking required).

So why not pay us a visit very soon and let us spoil you?  You'll be so pleased you did!

Best wishes
